With view to guiding Himachalis especially the semi-skilled, skilled and technical youth, in getting overseas employment, Bureau was set-up in 1994. It is registered as a Recruiting Agent with the Protection General of Emigrants, Government of India (alongwith approximately 4000 other Recruiting Agents in India). Registrants are available in over 179 trades/occupations. The Bureau is in touch with Embassies/High Commissions through government of Himachal Pradesh. 13 registrants have been placed overseas.
