Subject:- Filling up of posts of  Principal Scientific Officer–Human & Animal Health Care

               and Principal Scientific Officer - Finance & Administration 

 

Sir,  

            The following posts are required to be filled on secondment/deputation basis (as per rules & instructions prevalent in this regard ) in the Department of Biotechnology. The headquarter shall be at Shimla. The applicants should be working in a State or Central Government Department/Board/Corporation or any other semi government organization.

1.	Principal Scientific Officer– Human & Animal Health Care in the pay scale of Rs. 12000-16350/-	(I.) The person should be  Ph.D in Animal/ Medical Sciences/  Biotechnology or equivalent with minimum eight years experience in research &  development    in Biotechnology preferably related to pharmaceutical, animal health care, gene therapy etc.  (II.) Should be working in the pay scale of Rs. 10000-15200/- or higher.	01
2.	Principal Scientific Officer   - Finance and Administration   in the pay scale of Rs. 12000-16350/-	(I.)    The  person should be Ph.D in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology or Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with minimum eight years experience in Administration & Management preferably of Biobusiness projects. (II) Should be working in the pay scale of Rs. 10000-15200/- or higher.	01

 

Note:  If an applicant is in the same or higher pay scale then the posts being advertised,   his pay will be protected.

             

You are requested to kindly send applications of interested and eligible candidates alongwith complete ACR dossiers within 30  days from the date of issue of this letter. The period of secondment/deputation shall initially be for a period of two years, which can be extended  by the HP Government. Application without ACR dossier shall not be considered. The final selection will be based on an interview and past track record/profile of the candidate.
